This is the Frequently Asked Questions area of our store. We have created it for our customers for ease of shopping with us.
Who can install these products?
- Generally all car audio shops will be able to install our products. They are amongst the most simplest installs for a car security systems. After your purchase if you are having trouble finding locations we can also suggest some places in your area. Also you can check with your local Best Buy for installation as well, some enjoy installing our products, however some only like to sell and install their own products. Rest assured though, we will help you get the system installed no matter what!
Whats the range on the alarms?
- We don't like to normally give out any range information only because it is so very different in environments. Many others quote a mile range when they can barely work 100 feet. Our systems with 2 way features will get ranges over 1000 feet and close to 2000 feet. Our FM systems get a reliable range of 2000 feet or more.
Do I have the AM or FM LCD remote?

The AM LCD is much more popular then the FM remote. It is more common and features a carbon fiber, checkered black/grey remote rather then the flat grey color like the FM. The FM and AM differences are mainly their frequencies, the FM has alittle bit longer range then the AM. If you have the AM remote originally you HAVE to get the AM remote replacement.

Can I order on the phone?
Do I need a bypass module?
- Most cars, especially newer ones need a bypass for the starter to allow the remote start feature (alarm still functions) to work. We have all the bypass modules needed but all are not listed online. The simple and best bypass module is the ADS custom programmed bypass module. This bypass is made for all cars, works safe and easily.
